Welcome to Deja's Smile Foundation a Non-Profit Organization created in memory of our daughter Deja Whitehead who passed away at 11yrs old June 26, 2011. This website was created to educate, bring awareness and provide resourceful information. We would like to thank you for visiting this web site and allowing us to tell Deja's Story.

This is Deja Nichelle Whitehead and she was our Daughter

Deja was a young girl who loved to laugh, go to school, and enjoy life as an 11yr old, she adored her friends, teachers and family. Everyone who knew Deja or came into contact with her at some point and time remember her smile. Deja had a smile that was golden she always brought joy, love, and happiness even on days when she didn't feel her best. We wanted to share with everyone the love she brought to us daily. Love, Laugh and Smile just a few of the things Deja lived by each day of her life. We would like for everyone to adopt this same motto. Take the time to enjoy life and experience the many gifts provided to us from God.
